What We're Like
How We Work
Here’s how the website design process typically goes:
You choose an agency to build your new website. You’re excited to get started. The first thing the agency does is show up with wireframes and ask you to produce content.
You agree on some initial layouts. The agency starts designing while you struggle to produce content. What’s most important? What stays and what goes? Disagreement and even conflict may ensue.
Another meeting with the agency takes place. They have designs to review. You like the look, but are not sure how the content will fit. The agency throws around jargon you only half understand. Frustrations and worries mount.
This process continues, with no aligned vision on either side. You make progress, but you’re never quite happy with the results.
Eventually, the website launches, possibly over-budget, and while you like the result, you find yourself wondering if there is a better way.
Sound frustrating? We agree.
A Different Approach
Imagine…
Instead if you chose an agency who came in with a plan to help you focus on your unique objectives and knowledge. Not just a set of wireframes and a need for content to fill them.
Imagine if they worked with you to develop your content into a map that aligns with a single, coherent vision for the website. Using that map, you can develop the structure on your content, making it easier to develop the entire website.
Imagine that by the time you get to wireframes, usability, and design, you are seeing your own content and know exactly how it will look once the website is complete.
Imagine that at the end, all that hard work pays off and your website is exactly as you hoped it would be.
Sounds better, right? We thought so, too.
If you’re interested in a better, easier process for designing your website, let’s talk about working together!
Guiding Principles
We’ve broken our standards of performance into five complementary principles. They’re not just a way of doing business — they’re at the heart of our day-to-day lives. We use these principles to guide us in our web development process and make the design experience better for everyone — especially our clients
